TOBE's Tiro ™ V2 is a slightly simpler monosuit model, meaning fewer pockets, the braces are of a slightly more basic model and there fewer reinforcements. The Tiro V2 is suitable for those who do not drive so actively and are not in need of the absolute top level of hard-wearing durability.
Like the more expensive models, the Tiro V2 uses a Sympatex® 45,000 mm membrane and 2-layer construction to ensure complete protection against both bad weather and wind. All the YKK Aquaguard® zippers are completely waterproof and all seams are double-taped for extra durability. There is ventilation under the arms with mesh to prevent debris and the like from entering. Laser-cut gaiters for the wrists provide optimal comfort and are guaranteed to keep snow and wet away and there are Kevlar® Armortex® reinforcements for the leg-ends and a phone pocket that makes it possible to control your smart phone from the outside.
This version of the Tiro V2 is the unlined shell garment. There is another version of the Tiro V2 available which contains a light 120g layer of insulation in the arms and legs and a little heavier 200g for the body.
