With a DMC connection, new units can connect to the group when they come within range and as soon as they fall out of range they are disconnected. Both the Bold and Slim versions have exactly the same technical features. The difference lies in the design. Both headsets are located on the left side of the helmet, but the Bold version´s battery is integrated into the headset itself. This fits better on some helmets, while the Slim version has an external battery part attached to the back of the helmet.
